Ramaswamy’s return coincides with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s visit to South Carolina as the Democratic candidate for president. The Ohio-born biotech entrepreneur has previously held appearances at the Iowa State Fair while running for office there.

The GOP event on Saturday is sold out, and 300 people are anticipated to attend. The event kicks up at 5:30.

Prior to his party’s function on Saturday, News 2 met with the Dorchester County Republican Chairman, Steven Wright.

The candidate for the US presidency will be hosted this year, which makes Dorchester Republicans even more thrilled to host our third annual Faith Family and Freedom Dinner, he added. This year’s keynote speaker will be Vivek Rameswamey, who is currently placing in second or third place in numerous polls. This year’s keynote speaker is a rising star in the Republican Party, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about that, said Wright.

Following a conversation with the South Carolina Democratic Party, News  is awaiting their written response regarding Ramaswamy’s arrival. News 2 also attempted to interview the Dorchester Democratic Party, but they declined.

Vivek Ramaswamy Early life

In Cincinnati, Ohio, Vivek Ramaswamy was born to Indian immigrants. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in biology and then earned a J.D. from Yale Law School. After law school, he worked as an investment partner at a hedge fund before founding a biotech company, Roivant Sciences, in 2014. He left Roivant in 2021 as CEO but continued to serve as chairman till 2023.

Political views

Ramaswamy’s political views have evolved over time. He was once a registered Democrat, but he became disillusioned with the party after what he saw as its embrace of identity politics and cancel culture. He now identifies as a Republican and has become a vocal critic of the left.

Ramaswamy’s views have made him a popular figure among some conservatives, but he has also been criticized for his lack of experience in government. He is also seen as a longshot in the Republican presidential primary, which is currently dominated by former President Donald Trump.

Despite the challenges he faces, Ramaswamy is determined to make his voice heard. He believes that the United States is in the midst of a “national identity crisis” and that he is the only candidate who can offer a solution.

In a recent interview, Ramaswamy stated, “I’m running for president because I think America is in jeopardy.”Wokeness and cancel culture are dividing us, and we’re losing our sense of national identity. I’m the only candidate who can unite the country and restore our greatness.”

Whether or not Ramaswamy is successful in his bid for the presidency, he is sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the Republican Party. He is a articulate and passionate advocate for his views, and he is not afraid to challenge the status quo. It will be interesting to see how his campaign unfolds in the months to come.

When Vivek Ramaswamy decides to run for president as a Republican, he’ll bring his unique perspective to the contest. He may not be your usual politician, but it is precisely what can set him apart from the competition.

So, everyone, keep an eye on this guy. He has a keen business sense and a goal-oriented vision for transformation. One thing is certain: Vivek Ramaswamy is prepared to cause a stir in the political sphere, regardless of whether he wins the White House or not!

Debate

The youngest candidate on the debate stage on Wednesday night made no friends among his fellow Republican presidential contenders by questioning their morality, making fun of their pledges, and implying that because of his lack of political experience, he was best suited to address a country’s issues.
